Waldameer's Old Carousel Building

As mentioned previously on this blog, Waldameer has two carousel buildings, but only one of them currently houses a carousel. The original building is actually the one still used today - the building in these pictures was constructed but proved to be too out-of-the-way on the park's midway, leading Waldameer to move the ride back into its current home. This in-between covering is now a picnic pavilion.
Seen from the Sky Ride. This building is one of the roundest carousel buildings I've ever seen.
One of Waldameer's many bronze statues sits in front.
I hope you've enjoyed this anecdote of park history!
As a bonus, here's the ride's original and current home.
